Christian Dior loved gardens
More than 160 trees ready for planting appeared on the catwalk. Their purpose was not only to highlight the importance of protecting the environment, but also to reflect Christian Dior's love for nature.
“Christian Dior loved gardens. Flowers are part of the Dior heritage. Now, however, when I see flowers and gardens, I don't just see the joy and beauty of nature. I see all the concerns about our future as well, and I feel the need to act,”
said Maria Grazia Chiuri.
The SS20 collection is therefore not just a show of hippie models interwoven with divine elegance, but a kind of message for our society. And what pieces did Dior prepare for you this time?
Batik and ombre are back!
You've probably thrown all the batik pieces out of your closet a long time ago, and as you can see now, was it a big mistake... or perhaps one of the best decisions in your life? Either way, batik returns to the fashion scene, hand in hand with ombre! Dior applied this duo to casual dresses, overalls, three-quarter pants or pleated skirts.
Don't leave your house without a hat
The fashion accessory you can't do without in the next season is a hat. Straw, beige, white, black, with ribbon, without ribbon - your choice. You can wear it with a shirt or denim, but also with a romantic chiffon or tulle dress.
Luxury Prague Life favorite
And romantic dresses full of embroidery, crystals, lace, tulle and slender silhouettes happen to be our favorite part of the collection. While the hippie part has left us totally unimpressed, this is simply a hit!
