The London Fashion Week started with the long awaited splendid weeks of men‘s fashion. Apart from luxury fashion trends however, there were also terrifying unwearable items, which no one should definitely ever wear. What let us down this year?
Choose and compare different opinions:
Helmut lang with his colourful collection from a bizarre material
The luxury brand named after designer Helmut Lang, didn’t make a positive impression on us at the London fashion convention. The SS29 collection presents colourful items, which thanks to their saturated hues, such as green, red, purple or pink, will definitely make you stand out in the crowd, however no man should ever wear any of them. If he did, it would only scare us!
The clothes are made from bubble wrap reminiscent of plastic wrapping, of which we have more than enough in our lives. Not only does it look terrible, but it probably gets very hot in them as well. Thumbs down.

Bobby Abley again presents eccentric fashion. Featuring Pikachu!
Who wouldn’t fall in love with luxury animated characters? But this is over the top! Fashion designer Bobby Abley loves extravagance, which he therefore also featured in his new collection, the king of which is Pikachu from Pokémon! Pokémon were evidently his main inspiration, because elements of the tv series appeared not only on clothes, but also on accessories. Jumpers and pants with these animated heroes are however largely untasteful, and unappealing to us.
The shoes of the year by Reebok will definitely be a MUST HAVE
Before we comment on the new luxury moccasins from the collection by Reebok, we would like to add, that although we think that these shoes are an absolute disaster, we will probably see them in the streets more than we’d like to this year. Why? Because lately, zany sneakers are the thing!
And now lets talk about the shoes themselves. The brand Reebok also made an appearance at the London Fashion Week in connection with the brand Cottweiller. That wouldn’t have been anything out of the ordinary, if it had been in association with the creation of a black and neon green moccasin collection of an absolutely extravagant syle. This gentlemen, please NO!
The fashion creations of mass murderers and the acute need of a psychiatrist
Finally, it is the time of world fashion weeks, which are supposed to present us the hottest trends of the coming season. The first among them is London. It had offered us a range of men’s clothing, which however included a grand dose of horror. Oh dear…
The Austrian fashion designer, Helmut Lang, showed us a perfect example of fashion for mass murderers. Do you want to kill someone in the middle of the park with a machete, and not have a single trace of DNA of the victim? The neon plastic bags by Lang will definitely provide you with the necessary comfort. We only hope, that these items are recyclable. We don’t want to carry on polluting the natural beauty of international waters!
The young fashion designer, Bobby Abley, has on the other hand the problem, that he got trapped in the spiral of his own childhood. The copying of various comic characters is a fun and playful endeavour once. But if you return to this style year after year in a row, I’d perhaps recommend the professional help of a psychiatrist. Pikachu in a tracksuit? I wouldn’t give this to my five year old son!
And to conclude, we have the rubber anti-slip moccasins in rendition by brand Reebok. This is an aberration of style. I have gotten used to the untasteful, zany style of “Yeezy” by Adidas, and I try to avoid them wherever I go. However if I ever see this monstrosity on anyone’s feet I think I’ll lose it. This has to be dug 10 feet under! Gone are the golden days of Borat…
