1. The Great Wall of China
The purpose of the Great Wall of China was to protect China from Mongolian raids. According to legends, it was built on the bodies of dead people in the 5th-3th century BC. Its total length today is 8851 km.
2. Statue of Christ the Redeemer
On the Corcovado hill above the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro stands a a luxurious gigantic statue of Jesus Christ with open arms, made of reinforced concrete. The statue is 30m tall and was built between 1922 and 1931 by the French sculptor Maximilien Paula Landowski.
3. Machu Picchu
In the middle of a tropical forest in Peru, in the Cuzco area, lies a natural gem related to a pre-Columbian Inca city. You will see giant walls, terraces and ramps that seem to be naturally emerging from the cliff. The most important monuments of this place are the stone of Intihuatana, the Temple of the Sun and the Room of the Three Windows.

6. Taj Mahal
