Steve Jobs (1955-2011) was a genius who revolutionised modern technology. He used his visionary attitude to change the world’s view of personal computers, mobile telephones and portable devices. 1. He patented his ideas and concepts
Steve Jobs had nearly 300 patents registered under his name. The glass staircase in the Apple shop in the USA is one such patented item, which attracts people passing by to the shop.
2. He slept in the White House
He had dinner with Bill Clinton in 1966. He received an invitation to the White House where he spent the night in the deluxe Lincoln bedroom.
3. He was interested in calligraphy
He attended a calligraphy course, which he believed was a benefit for future Apple products focusing on typography and fonts.
4. He designed his own yacht
He designed a deluxe yacht called Venus in cooperation with world-renowned designer Phillip Starck.
5. He typically wore a black turtleneck and Levi’s jeans
He was known for his simplicity and the fact that he liked Levi’s jeans. He allegedly owned around 100 Levi’s jeans in his life.
6. He loved ecological farms
He enjoyed visiting deluxe ecological fruit farms and it is very probable that this inspired him to name his company Apple.
7. He was a high-principled boss
He was highly driven. He abided by strict rules and principles.
8. He established Pixar
In 1986 he purchased the Graphics Group, which he renamed Pixar Animation Studios.
